Folks love a man in a wig and panty hose!

What’s cool from checking out a few of your photos & this video, it looks like you enjoy making others laugh while staying in character. Bennington needs an icon (Even if it’s a historical one.) and I’m glad you exist. :-)

For a brief, exciting moment, I thought I was watching Jacques Pepin and Julia Child! Okay, maybe not. Very entertaining, Colonial M&M!

About Me

just Who is this Colonial Man you speak of?

Excellent question!

I was born out of the Battle of Bennington (my dad was very happy we defeated the british!). Growing up as a wee lad I enjoyed making people laugh, while bringing in history and the importance this battle had on our state of vermont and the nation….

Fast forward 239 years!

…I emerged from a very…very long slumber deep within the Bennington Battle Monument back in the great year of 2016. When I awoke I had a very strong desire to pass along my knowledge (it’s a tad rusty, on account of me being so darn old!) of the great battle of bennington that took placed on august 16, 1777. Since then I have been catching up with all that is new in the world, and it is quite a lot, let me tell you. Since my great awakening I’ve been trotting around the area letting everyone know about Battle Day and its importance in our history as a nation. When I’m not preaching about the battle i’m taking in all the area has to offer, and it’s a lot! Naturally all of this trotting about tuckers me out, so when mother nature turns cold, i know it’s time to head back to the monument and rest up - it’s how i keep my youthful appearance. so, if you see me out and about say hi - don’t be a stranger!
